Besides online auctions like eBay, anyone know of any other LEGIT work-at-home jobs i could do for extra $$?
Besides online auctions like eBay, anyone know of any other LEGIT work-at-home jobs i could do for extra $$? I am a stay at home mom, pregnant and i have MS so that is why i stopped working outside the home. It became too much.

I tried the eBay route for a while, but it seemed like it required too much, to get to little, as i didnt have enough capital to buy wholesale, etc. I couldn't keep up with it enough to make a significant profit. I can do many other things, great on the computer, superior typing skills, tons of customer service experience, plus i'm a huge computer nerd in quite a few ways! There is tons of stuff that i could do, but the problem is finding where i'm needed..

i'm only looking for job ideas where i won't have to invest much (if any) money initially, as i hardly have a pot to squat on these days. I want to help my family. Please let me know youre ideas!

Do a simple rearch for "Work at home" from any browser and you'll get more responses than you can handle. The cheapest one I've seen is for $2.95 to get started.
(It's legit too, cause I get it through a Web site as a subscriber).

I'll second the recommendation for Inbox Dollars. I've written a blog post about getting your first $30 from Inbox Dollars.

The main problem with finding sites like this that are legit is needing to go through all the scam sites. I use Marketing Pond, which is a collection of prescreened sites guaranteed to payout when they say they will. See my Marketing Pond Review for a list of legit programs.

    Good luck!

Bless your heart! I definitely know what it's like to have terrible morning sickness. I had it really bad with both of my children and lost a lot of weight. I couldn't do anything! With your experience you can do several things. First let me get a couple of things straight about what's out there:

There are two different types of work at home income. Work at home JOBS are like telecommuting. You have a boss and guaranteed assignments. You get those done in a timely fashion and you've got a paycheck, and you probably don't have to pay anything (unless it's something like transcription work and you're paying for your equipment). But your time isn't as flexible with this type of work. You can find legit listings in the telecommuting folder at wahm.com. This is the type of work you are probably referring to when you mention the experience you have.

Then there are work at home BUSINESSES. These usually do require some sort of money from you but this is okay if you are paying for products. Pampered Chef, Mary Kay, Avon are some of the well known one for this type of business. I'm in Watkins (it's been around since 1868 and provides the best quality kitchen spices, mixes, etc. in my opinion!) When you join one of these companies, you are paying for your business to get started. You can't start a business without something to sell, material to provide information, etc. If you are paying for this type of thing it's okay. The amount you pay depends with each company. You should be very sure to know exactly what you are paying for. These can also be fun when you get into something you enjoy and if you want, they can get you out of the house as well (if you want to do parties, they certainly aren't necessary).

Now, I stress that you should NEVER have to pay money for lists of "prospects," just for "information," etc. You should only be willing to pay money to a very reputable company for products. Anything else is a scam.

Now that I've made clear the two different type of work at home opportunities, you've got one of the most important things to figure out: What are your passions, hobbies, etc. What do you naturally enjoy doing? Any type of work you do from home needs to be something you won't hate. It doesn't matter if your neighbor is truly making a million bucks with ease with some company, if you don't naturally enjoy doing that type of thing, you're going to be lucky to make $10. Does this make sense? Think about what you like to do and go from there. There is something out there for nearly any type of niche. For example, I love to write so I went into newspaper work and then started to freelance once I quit my job to be home with my children. I also love to cook so Watkins is a great fit for me. Also, I enjoy helping people so I started doing web stuff that provided resources for people (see my profile).

Okay, the last thing: There is one thing that you can do that won't cost you anything and it is certainly legit. Google adsense can be set up for free on a free blog at blogger.com and you can make money doing this. BUT it takes time, time, TIME and patience, patience, PATIENCE and WORK to see significant income this way. It takes a while to get the kind of traffic you would need to make this a reliable source of income. You'd probably want to set one up but find something else to do as well, at least until (when and if) the blog started brining in something significant.

If you're looking for ideas on legit opportunities, I suggest you check out wahm.com. They have SO much information there and have been a big help to me. I hope I've been of some help! : )

    Hi
No scam…Promise. I am a stay at home mom, and it gives me an extra 50 bucks a month or so, with a sign-up bonus. Read the letter, and you can judge for yourself. Or google the company,
like I did myself, prior to joining. Good luck. Feel free to email.
Thanks for your interest in this position. It’s really easy and can be done in 10-15 minutes a day. Just click on emails that are sent to your email address. I personally recommend creating an email address to use just as your working email. Since providers like Yahoo and Hotmail provide these for free, this is easy to do. It is not necessary, but I have learned it is helpful to have a working email address to keep your business life and your personal life separate.

To sign up (which once again costs you NOTHING, and you get a $10 sign up bonus toward your account), visit the site I have listed near the bottom of this email. Once you get there, you fill out a little bit of info, including your email address. They then send you an email, and you have to check it to make sure you have correspondence with them; then continue the application process (i.e. your name and address so they can send you checks). Then you can pick up to 25 interest categories. Definitely be sure to check off the maximum of 25 so that you will receive the maximum number of ads possible. Pick ones having to do with home-based businesses, marketing, finance, real estate, and some health & nutrition groups. I only tell you this because these are the categories that send you the most paid advertisements. Then it takes about 24 hours (sometimes much less) for you to get authorized, and you're ready to go. You will start to receive emails from Hits4Pay that say you have new paid emails.

Once you join, I can send you additional info about building up your referral base in order to earn more money (this is the way you will see the money add up), with people working together, just like you and me! So be sure to contact me after you start receiving your emails so I can help you earn even more (all still free, and very easy to do).

You can go to your membership account at any time, type in your password and user name, and get to your paid ads. If you have any questions or concerns, they have a frequently asked questions section on the home page that is really helpful, with info about how you get paid, etc… Please let me know if you have any questions.

PS: Hits4Pay is listed in Forbes magazine
