what foods do i eat and what foods do i avoid ? for how long and if i walk everyday from skool for like 40 minutes
what other excersizes should i do? especially i want to tone the legs do you think this is enough?
how long would it take

I’ve answered your questions a couple of times in the past. You don’t have a goal set here, so let me suggest some.

1. Exercise at least 30 minutes in a day, 12 times in October.
(That’s about every other day!)
2. Exercise at least 30 minutes in a day, 18 times in November
(About 4 days a week.)
3. Keep a food diary every day, writing down everything I eat, and how much. (By the way, use your cell phone camera!)
4. Once a week, I will add up the calories that I ate in a day, so I learn how much I REALLY eat. Maybe it’s too much, maybe it’s not enough.

Here’s my thoughts on the other answerers.

The other folks are right - a temporary ‘diet’ doesn’t help much. The way you live your life has given you the body you have now, including the extra weight on your legs, hips, and tummy. Whatever you do to tone your body and lose weight, you will have to keep doing.

diets dont work– and you figured that out. its because as soon as you go off the diet the weight comes back. you need to figure out a new lifestyle!

eat helthy meals, and make sure you arent over eating. eat a little bit often, it will help you not get so hungry and you will not over eat at meal time– take your own healthy snacks with you so you arent tempted to grab junk food when you get hungry..

excercise and weight lifting will help you lose weight and tone your body all over…but try to start out slow so you dont wear yourself out– try to make it something you enjoy so that its something you WANT to do not something you MAKE yourself do

if you honestly want to lose weight the healthy way, RIP UP your calender - because it’s a lifelong commitment, and becoming healthy isn’t something that should be timed or rushed.

    improve your eating habits.
learn to like cooking healthy meals, including lots of fruits & veggies, whole grains, and lean protein.
possibly consider adopting a vegetarian or vegan diet.
avoid junk food, or foods filled with starch, fat, sugar, and processed ingredients and preservatives.
try to go for all-natural and organic. avoid the foods that have ingredient lists as long as novels.
drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. exercise daily - and switch up your routine.
learn to love walking or running - and possibly join a sport or a pilates (self-defense, yoga, kickboxing, etc) class with a friend. make exercising fun!
learn to use your legs as transportation - if you can, try to walk to as many places as possible. (you’ll not only be helping yourself out, but also helping the environment.)

it’s all about taking small steps in your daily life to improve your health. DON’T try to restrict calories, skip meals, do fad diets as an attempt to lose weight seriously - as you know, these things seldom work. notice the bad habits you’ve made over time, and work slowly at changing them for the better. good luck. =]

stay away fromthe fad diets and do it all natural like you said. The most legitimate program I know of is at heavymotivation.com do yourself a favor and check it out and see whatthey offer. It is not a fad, not a crash diet and requires no pills or suppliments. I think this is what you are looking for. It will tell you wahat to eat and what to avaiod. Actually, they plan all of your meals for you based onthe foods that you will actually eat. I hope this helps you a bit. It really helped me.

I really appreciate that you have started to do something about your own health and weight.
However, It is really important to not to be so harsh on yourself. Give some attainable target to yourself.

Make a exercise plan as well as a diet plan for yourself with the help of experts. However, the trick is to be regular in whatever you do in your efforts of losing weight.

    Best of luck,
